My South American Adventure!

This is a more personal (and less nutritious!) post than usual, but I want you to know why I feel invigorated and inspired this 2014!

I just returned from a family trip to SOUTH AMERICA (thanks Mom & Dad!) and MUST share some highlights!!! I spent *10 days* of quality family time exploring Buenos Aires, Argentina, Iguazu Falls, and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The rich Argentinean and Brazilian culture was a breath of fresh air…despite the 95º+ heat wave every day we were there! 

Here are some cultural highlights (check back tomorrow for my South American foodie inspiration):

We danced to the beat at KONEX (a drum-heavy instrumental performance) and TANGOed at La Milonga: 

Then we headed to the GORGEOUS Iguazu Falls, which spans between Argentina and Brazil. Can you believe this is real????  

Couldn’t you look at this forever….I sure could!

I was one with wildlife….

Then we headed to Rio and continued to tour, SAMBAed, and sip authentic caipirinhas (Brazilian liquor with muddled fruit- usually lime- and sugar)…
